Meet Ron, he likes beef. You may remember him from previous FringeFoodFestival events such as the grain fed vs grass fed beef taste-off.

Meet Neil, he likes beef too, and he makes wine.  You may remember him from such classic dinners such as the grain fed vs grass fed beef taste-off.

You know – I’m thinking that Ron O’Bryan and Neil Prentice have me all worked out.  Wine, meat, a real old fashioned pub on a public transport route.  Yep – that’s gonna appeal to me!

If you came along to the aforementioned dinner, you’ll know what we’re on about.  If you didn’t, you missed out on a  fantastic educational evening and lots of fun.

So we’re doing it again; only bigger.

Sourcing beef from four different beef producers who grow different kinds of cows in different ways; Ron will work some kitchen magic and feed us four courses of delicious beef.

We’ve decided to do something a bit different with the wine – we’re going to match with Nebbiolo, the red wine grape that comes from Piedmont in Italy. We’re aiming to offer 16 wines on tasting so you can experience the broad range of resulting wines that come from a base of this wine.

So it’s  Four courses by Four producers, with 4 x 4 wines….

Get it?  Sigh – it’s not easy writing all this copy you know…

So come down to the lovely, old-style Vine Hotel, get a good dose of Iron and Vitamin Red Wine.
